Claire Beech & Alexander Millet - June 11, 2011

Claire and Alex received a set of family Limoges dinner plates of white porcelain edged in gold. Together they found a way to honor the family history and sentiment and yet make the table setting feel truly their own. They have chosen 12 dessert plates in Mottahedeh "Tobacco Leaf" and 12 soup/pasta bowls in Herend Blue Fishscale. The soup/pasta bowl is not a part of the regular line in Herend. Yet it is the one piece that unifies the whole look of the place setting - the color, texture, and the motion of the border. (All 12 are in stock)
Also photograph is one of 12 linen placemats hand-embroidered with six different pastoral scenes. In addition, the bride and groom have requested 12 5-piece place settings of stainless steel - "Column" by Gorham.

Serving pieces are made up of 3 different patterns by Herend - "Princess Victoria Blue", "Blue Fishscale", and "Golden Edge" (not pictured).

Also on the registry are numerous gift items and accessories for not just the dining room but the entire home - this decoupage tray from Annie Modica's workshop, cachepot in Mottahedeh "Tobacco Leaf" and cotton guest towels with embroidered seaside motif.

For a more casual look Clair and Alex hope to receive several pieces of Simon Pearce glass including the medium Hartland hurricane and the Addison pitcher as well as beautiful and sturdy French dish towels in two different patterns.
There is quite a variety of other gift and home accessories, both casual and more formal.
